The beautiful Napa Valley accommodations are found in 435 non smoking private cottage suites clustered around hidden courtyards, secluded swimming pools or lining the fairways of Silverado Resort's two championship golf courses. Golf on-site:
Redesigned by PGA Hall of Famer Johnny Miller, The South Course is one of two championship, Troon Golf -managed courses located on-site and provides plenty of golfing challenges and a pleasantly varied layout. At times the terrain is relatively flat, at others pleasantly undulating. The good mix of straight and dog-legging holes are occasionally tree-lined, but more often played in an open setting where water hazards and a scattering of trees define the holes. Houses unobtrusively flank some parts of the course perimeter, although not to obscure picturesque views onto the surrounding Napa Valley hills.

Also redesigned by Johnny Miller, The North Course features stylish though relatively shallow bunkering that threatens on several holes, especially around the greens, while your course management and shot-making will need to factor-in ponds protecting the par-3 11th and par-3 15th holes. With one or two vineyards to be glimpsed along the way, the North course at Silverado provides a pleasant parkland setting to enjoy a relaxed round of golf. On a layout where many of the game's greatest golfing legends scooped the prizes in the 1970's, you can set your own level of difficulty, easier-going from the front tees or considerably more "interesting" from the tips.
